Generally above-average crop condition during the first half of November, 2017November 24, 2017 China Winter wheat was at emergence to tillering period. Overall, crop condition was above average. Favorable winter wheat condition widely occurred in Southwest China due to suitable temperature and soil moisture. Because of favorable agro-climatic condition, crop situation in North China was average. Rapeseed was at transplanting stage. Favourable agroclimatic conditions over the monitoring period were beneficial for rapeseed transplanting and coming growth. Late rice in South China was at maturing period. Crop condition was slight above average or average. Neighboring regions Crop condition was generally average in the areas adjacent to China. Affected by low temperature, below-average crop condition appeared in Punjab to Gujarat. In contrast, crop condition was above average in Vietnam thanks to favorable agrocliamtic situation. |
