Winter crops were generally favorable in mid-March 2019April 01, 2019 Crop conditions were generally favorable compared to the previous five years average in mid-March. However, diverse behaviors were observed in different major producing provinces, with above average conditions concentrated in Sichuan, Gansu, Shanxi, and north Jiangsu. Crops at southern Hebei, central to south Anhui, Southern Jiangsu as well as central Shaanxi appeared below average conditions.
